BIKE RENTAL AGREEMENT

This Bike Rental Agreement (the "Agreement") is made and entered into as of _______ (the "Effective Date"), by and between the Owner and the Renter, collectively referred to as the "Parties".

WHEREAS, the Owner is the legal owner of the bicycle(s) described herein; and
WHEREAS, the Renter desires to rent the bicycle(s) from the Owner for the period and on the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.

The Renter covenants and agrees as follows:
(a) Use: To use the Bicycle in a careful and proper manner and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

(d) Inspection: To inspect the Bicycle prior to use and confirm it is in good working order. Renter's use of the Bicycle constitutes acceptance of its condition.
(e) Security: To keep the Bicycle securely locked when unattended and to take all reasonable measures to prevent its theft or damage.
(f) No Alterations: Not to make any alterations, additions, or improvements to the Bicycle.

8. Assumption of Risk, Liability, and Indemnification

8.1. Assumption of Risk. Renter acknowledges that cycling involves inherent risks of injury, death, and property damage. Renter knowingly and freely assumes all such risks, both known and unknown.
8.2. Liability for Damage or Loss. Renter is solely responsible for the Bicycle during the Rental Term. In the event of loss or theft, Renter shall be liable as follows: _______. In the event of damage, the cost will be assessed as follows: _______. The Security Deposit, if any, may be applied towards these costs.
8.3. Indemnification. Renter shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Owner, its agents, and employees from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with the Renter's use, possession, or operation of the Bicycle.

10. Termination

10.1. Termination by Owner. The Owner may terminate this Agreement and repossess the Bicycle at any time if the Renter breaches any term of this Agreement.
10.2. Consequences. Upon termination, Renter shall immediately return the Bicycle and pay all fees due. No refund of rental fees shall be provided in case of termination due to Renter's breach.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

11.1. Governing Law. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of _______.

12. General Provisions

12.1. Entire Agreement. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter hereof.
12.2. Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
